The Montreal-Trudeau International Airport says its operations are returning to normal after a “suspicious” suitcase found on a landing flight led to the closure of one of the airport’s runways.

“The investigation conducted by local law enforcement has concluded and has been found to be unfounded,” a spokesperson for the airport told The Epoch Times on March 18 around 6:30 p.m. EST. The airport’s operations “have returned to normal,” the spokesperson said.
