Meta Defends Policy on Calls for Violence Against Russia After Country Blocks Instagram

Facebook owner Meta defended a change in its content policy after Russia mounted a criminal case and blocked Instagram in response to the move.

Meta on March 10 announced a temporary change in its content policy that would allow users to express their views against Russia’s attack on Ukraine, allowing posts such as “death to Russian invaders.”
