Man Sentenced to Six Years for Shooting, Arson at Punjabi Singer’s BC Home

A Winnipeg man found guilty of arson and firing a weapon at the home of Indo-Canadian pop star AP Dhillon in British Columbia last year has received a six-year prison sentence.
Abjeet Kingra, 26, was sentenced in Victoria Provincial Court to two years in prison for arson damaging a property and six years for shooting at Dhillon’s home. The sentences are to be served concurrently and Kingra was granted credit for time served since his arrest, West Shore RCMP said in an Oct. 1 press release
