Man Arrested After ‘Arson Attack’ on MP’s Office That Also Wrecked Charity Base

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a major fire at a Labour MP’s constituency office which also wrecked a small charity’s UK base.

Police attended the blaze at Washington and Gateshead South MP Sharon Hodgson’s office at Vermont House in Concord, Washington, Tyne and Wear, in the early hours of Thursday.
