The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) is issuing advisories for Hurricane Sergio and Hurricane Leslie.

In its 11 a.m. update on Oct. 4, the NHC said Leslie is now a Category 1 hurricane and is circling around the central Atlantic Ocean. It is hundreds of miles from any landmass. The NHC said that it is about 445 miles east of Bermuda and is moving to the north.The forecast model shows that Leslie will continue to move north before moving to the east. “A reduction in speed is forecast on Friday and Friday night, with Leslie turning toward the east or east-southeast over the weekend,” the agency said.
