Katter’s Australian Party MP Robbie Katter says the Queensland government isn’t doing enough to safeguard the future of the Mount Isa Copper Smelter.

The future of the smelter currently hangs in the balance, with Swiss-owned mining giant Glencore citing issues with profitability amid the Chinese Communist Party undercutting the market.
