Israel Deports Greta Thunberg, Along With 170 Other Gaza Flotilla Activists
Israel said the convoy was a provocation that served Hamas, while a lawyer for the activists accused authorities of mistreating detainees.

Israel has deported 171 passengers from the Global Sumud Flotilla—including Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg—to Greece and Slovakia, the Foreign Ministry said on Oct. 6.
The ministry said the deportees were citizens of Greece, Italy, France, the UK, and the United States, among other countries.
