President Donald Trump has spoken by phone with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and recent developments in Syria, according to the Turkish president’s office.
The March 16 telephone call addressed U.S.–Turkey relations and “regional and global matters,” the Turkish presidency said in a statement posted on social media platform X.
