General Election in Numbers: Records Broken and Historic Milestones

The Conservatives have seen their largest ever drop in MPs from one general election to the next.

The dust has now settled on the 2024 general election, with the final result from Inverness, Skye, and West Ross-shire declared on Saturday evening.

A total of 121 Conservative MPs have been elected: the lowest number in the party’s history.
