French Navy Ready to Act If Fishermen Clash Over Scallops Again

LONDON—The French navy has said it will intervene if there are more clashes over scallops between French and British fishermen.

French agriculture lawmaker Stephane Travert said Sept. 4, that he had spoken to his British counterpart and that there would be talks between the two sides on Sept. 5.
