Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he'd consider using the notwithstanding clause to prevent the courts from interfering with municipalities’ efforts to dismantle homeless encampments.

Ford made the comment as the government prepares legislation to crack down on homeless encampments and the public drug use that has become prevalent at many of them.
