A federal Liberal Party MP has expressed disappointment after his party’s state leader refused to endorse a vote to drop net zero, and cut back on Indigenous Welcome to Ceremonies.

The Member for Canning Andrew Hastie had put forward the motion at the Western Australia (WA) Liberal State Council.
