The European Parliament and the European Commission on March 14 barred lobbyists for Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei from EU premises amid a police investigation into alleged corruption by the company.

Belgian police investigating the case made several arrests and raided 21 premises in Belgium and Portugal on March 13. A judge also requested that two parliamentary assistants’ offices be sealed.
