A new report by Deloitte projects that Canada’s economy will grow by 1.5 percent in 2026, after projecting 1.7 percent growth for this year back in September.

Deloitte said in its Jan. 7 report that 2026 is likely to “mark an inflection point for Canada’s economy” as the federal government attempts to implement policies to create a more attractive environment for investments.
