Officials in Costa Rica said that the death toll from tainted alcohol has reached 20.

In a statement by the country’s Ministry of Health on July 22, another person is reported to have died and 21 more people have been sickened by adulterated booze. Over the weekend, the agency said that 19 people had died and also sent out a national alert.
