The Maple Leaf is flying on every lamppost, flagpole and patio in downtown Ottawa as the national capital joins other cities in welcoming thousands of revellers for Canada Day.
A number of city streets are closed around Parliament Hill and the LeBreton Flats Park, where the stage for this year’s main ceremony is set up.
