The CEO of the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax, Marie Chapman, has stepped down following the release of a report that accuses her of years of mistreatment of museum staff.
Public Sector Integrity Commissioner Harriet Solloway released the report on Dec. 10 following a two-year investigation into Chapman’s behaviour at work, saying the CEO had demonstrated “a pattern of inappropriate behaviour” over years. Chapman disagrees with the findings.
