Canadians’ Top Concerns Shift to Housing, Health Care, and Crime: Survey

As inflation pressures ease, housing and health care have become top concerns for Canadians, according to research by an international charity.

“While inflation and food affordability concerns have eased slightly, anxiety over health care, housing insecurity and crime is increasing, signaling that many are facing deeper struggles that go beyond the cost of living,” The Salvation Army, which provides social services in 400 Canadian communities and worldwide, said in a press release dated Nov. 7.
