Army to Remain in Quebec Flood Zones to Help With Cleanup Operations

MONTREAL—The Canadian Forces will maintain soldiers in Quebec to remove sandbags and restore critical infrastructure in communities hit by flooding, a brigadier-general in the Canadian Armed Forces said on May 13.

And while flooding has largely stabilized or begun to subside, high water levels continue to threaten some communities in Quebec and neighboring Ontario.
