Newly elected Liberal MP George Chahal is under investigation for allegedly swapping an opponent’s campaign ads with his own, Calgary police said.
Chahal, a former Calgary city councillor, won as a Liberal candidate in the Calgary Skyview riding in the federal election, defeating Conservative incumbent Jag Sahota by roughly 3,300 votes.
