The body of a miner who died when a roof collapsed a coal mine in central Queensland has been recovered.

“We can confirm that Queensland Police Service has recovered the body of our deceased co-worker, Graham Dawson, 62, from Crinum underground mine this afternoon,” operator Mastermyne said in a statement on Saturday.
