Challenging bushfire conditions are delaying the reopening of a popular hiking track, as emergency crews focus on containing out-of-control blazes.
Tasmanian authorities have extended the closure of the Overland Track until Feb. 23 after it was shut on Feb. 5 due to a fire at Canning Peak near Cradle Mountain in the state’s central highlands.
