Biden Authorizes up to 3,000 Military Reservists to Be Ready for Active Duty in Europe

President Joe Biden authorized the Pentagon to order up to 3,000 reserve troops to be ready to deploy to Europe.

Mr. Biden said in his order on Thursday that he determined “it is necessary to augment the active Armed Forces of the United States for the effective conduct of Operation Atlantic Resolve in and around the United States European Command’s area of responsibility.”
