Australian Tourism Sector Welcomes COVID-19 Roadmap

The head of Australia’s peak tourism body has cautiously welcomed the staged easing of COVID-19 restrictions, but says the real boost will only occur once state borders are reopened.

Australian Tourism Industry Council executive director Simon Westaway says the prime minister’s announcement on May 8 is great news for the sector.
