Australian PM Ups Engagement With Indonesia Amid Tension in the Indo-Pacific

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has turned up the diplomatic offensive in the Indo-pacific, announcing a range of new partnerships with Australia’s northern neighbour Indonesia during an official visit.

Albanese met with Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Jakarta on June 6, along with several ministers, including Foreign Minister Penny Wong, Trade Minister Don Farrell, and Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen.
