Tech giants have responded to a proposal to pay more money for sharing news content unless they can strike agreements with Australian media outlets.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on April 28 unveiled draft laws for the news bargaining incentive, which encourages agreements to be struck between tech giants and media companies.
