Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong has downplayed concerns of pushback from China over a proposed security pact between Australia and Fiji.

Wong held talks with Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka in the Pacific island nation’s capital, Suva, as they spruiked the yet-to-be-signed Vuvale agreement between the two countries.
