Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced the limit on public gatherings has been reduced from groups of 10 people to two, to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Federal and state governments have moved to further restrict public gatherings of people from 10 to two. States and territories are now considering, following a national cabinet meeting on Sunday, whether to make the two-person limit enforceable.
