King Charles and Queen Camilla Visit the US

King Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla, came to the United States this week for a four-day visit amid strains over the Iran war to commemorate the two nations’ special relationship on the eve of America’s 250th anniversary.

They arrived on April 27 and were received by President Donald Trump for a tour of the White House. The king addressed Congress on April 28, where he cited the importance of the U.S. role in NATO, and the significance of the U.S.–UK alliance.
