The government of Alberta is allocating $1.2 million into a non-profit program that will help military veterans transition into the workforce.

The program, called Forces@WORK, was started by Prospect Human Services in 2011 and has helped 1,300 veterans and public safety personnel find work in civilian careers, according to the government.
