Alberta Lowers Provincial Flags to Commemorate Victims of BC School Shooting

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says flags at provincial buildings have been lowered in honour of the victims killed in a school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

The shooting took place at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School on Feb. 10 and left nine people dead, including the shooter, who has been identified as 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar of Tumbler Ridge. Twenty-seven others were injured in the incident, according to RCMP.
