A new report has found that students in Alberta charter schools are outperforming those enrolled in public and Catholic schools.

The report, published Oct. 22 by think tank SecondStreet.org, compared the test results among Alberta’s charter schools, public schools, and Catholic schools using Provincial Achievement Test scores (PATs). The tests examined in the report included the subjects of English, mathematics, science, and social studies, for Grade 6 and 9 students.
