AFP Commissioner Says More ‘Diversity’ Needed to Combat Security Threats

The head of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) has said greater “diversity” within the agency is the key to maintain trust with community in the fight against security threats.

Speaking at the 17th New South Wales Parliamentary Friendship and Dialogue Iftar Dinner, AFP Commissioner Krissy Barrett said she wanted the national crime-fighting force to “look more like the communities we serve.”
