Academics Urge New Zealand’s Ardern to Stand Firm Against Chinese Regime

Academics and civil-society groups have called on New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinta Ardern to send a clear warning to the Chinese Regime—silencing academic voices won’t be tolerated.

The request comes amid reports of intimidation and threats against Anne-Marie Brady, a China critic and Canterbury University politics professor, the ABC reported.
