Talk of developing James Bay as an export hub resurfaced this week around a meeting between Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith. Ontario is seeking to build a deep-water port to help export products to new markets. Alberta, which does not have direct port access, is also pushing for this development.
