Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has turned down a request from new Liberal leader Jess Wilson to join a cross-party debt reduction commission.

The request came after an auditor-general report showed Victoria’s government had racked up $50.6 billion (US$33.8 billion) in deficits in the last six years.
