Woman Pleads Guilty to Fatal Stabbing of Boyfriend in Laguna Niguel

SANTA ANA, Calif.—A 56-year-old Laguna Niguel woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to fatally stabbing her live-in boyfriend six years ago.

Michele Lynn Green pleaded guilty to one felony count of voluntary manslaughter. She is scheduled to be sentenced July 22 in the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach.

Green had been facing charges of murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon.

Green fatally stabbed 52-year-old Richard Begley Feb. 21, 2015, in a domestic dispute at 24805 La Vida Drive.
