A video from the Toronto Zoo shows a woman leaping over a Tiger fence to retrieve her hat, which had fallen into the enclosure.

The woman’s actions caused the tiger to leap at her, but it was stopped by the second fence in the enclosure.

A spokesperson for the Toronto Zoo said that they were aware of the video and were investigating.

“My understanding is it happened Saturday afternoon,” zoo spokeswoman Jennifer Tracey told Reuters.

People often lose their items in the enclosure area, but there is special equipment designed to retrieve them.

“No need to go after them yourself. Follow the signs, there is a reason they are there,” Tracey said.

Tracey said that the tiger, Hari, was fine and wasn’t traumatized by the incident.

Jared Sales, the man who shot the video, said that there was no prompt investigation of the incident, and that the Zoo probably wouldn’t even be aware that it happened if not for the video.
