A woman was arrested on Tuesday for abandoning her 6-month-old daughter on a train platform in Columbus Circle.
Frankea Dabbs, 20, is being charged with abandoning and endangering a child. The child, whose name was not released, was found abandoned in her stroller on the platform of 59th Street and Columbus Avenue subway station on July 7 at just before noon.
The little girl was initially taken to a nearby hospital and found to be in healthy condition. She is now in the custody of child protective services.
Police said on Tuesday that there is an ongoing investigation into the case.
