Winter storm Petros has already delivered more than 10 inches of snow to many towns in the tri-state area, and could continue to pound the Midwest with snow and wind.

According to the National Weather Service, the storm should have left the area by around mid-day Thursday, although Ann Arbor could still see a few inches of snow.

The movement of the low pressure system into the interior Northeast could mean several inches of snow in that area, which should disperse by Friday morning, according to Weather.com.
