The Windows Phone 8.1 update won’t be released until June.

Vineet Durani, director of the Windows Phone Business Group at Microsoft, said that all Lumia devices will get the update by the end of June, reported Gizbot.

The update was initially released in a preview form on April 14 and was expected to be released as early as a week or two later, but it seems that those rumors were off.

The update will include a number of new features.

Start screen enhancements will add a third column of medium tiles on all screen sizes. The new action center enables better functionality for the phone. And the calendar and keyboard are also improved.
