Willow Smith to Perform in New Year’s Special

Willow Smith, the child singer and daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, is slated to “whip her hair” on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in a few weeks, according to People magazine.

Smith, who recently turned 10, became an smash-hit on the web with her single “Whip My Hair,” which has amassed more than 23 million hits on Youtube since it was leaked.

She will perform with Ne-Yo, Drake Natasha Bedingfield, and La Roux, MTV News said.

Several million people watch the show every year, which broadcasts live from New York City every New Year’s Eve. Radio host Ryan Seacrest, Jenny McCarthy, Dick Clark and Fergie will host the show, which broadcasts live from Los Angeles.

Larry Klein, the show's producer, told interview that McCarthy will be a great supplement to Seacrest and Clark.

"Jenny [McCarthy] is a great addition to this year's show," Larry Klein, producer of the show, told MTV. "She is funny, relatable and high energy, and she will be great with our New Year's crowd, Ryan and Dick."
