After actor Moises Arias, known best for his role in “Hannah Montana” as Rico Suave, posted a picture of Willow Smith on his Instagram account, the media sparked a controversy of the issue. The photo showed the 13-year-old Smith fully dressed, lying on a bed, where a shirtless Arias was sitting.

When the news of the photo began circulating in early May, Arias, 20, took the photo down.

His Instagram account, “iputtheeconomyonmyback” has other photos with the Smith siblings as he is said to be close friends with Jaden Smith. Willow Smith’s Instagram account “scoobylafignoss” had its latest photo posted some 45 weeks ago. Arias has not spoken to the media since the incident, however he wrote on his Twitter account on May 17 a brief cryptic messages: “Scooby Snacks.”

Smith also posted a message on her twitter page on Wednesday saying: “Kids are constantly told they have to be validated by an outside source, in school at home ect. but the truth is, the only one that needs to validate you is you.”

Her older brother, Jaden Smith, 15, commented on the issue, saying the news is a distraction from other important news. “They Distract You With Us So You Don’t Pay Attention To The Missing Girls In Nigeria,” he wrote, while Willow retweeted.

Recently the news broke that Willow’s parents, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are under scrutiny for their parenting skills by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, according to an exclusive with Radar Online. But Jada Pinkett Smith blamed the hype around the photo on the media.

“Here’s the deal, there was nothing sexual about that picture, or that situation,” Pinkette told TMZ news
