People are wondering who the next Bachelor is as the Bachelorette season 10 wrapped up on Monday.
Multiple outlets have been reporting that it’s down to Chris Soules from this season or Arie Luyendyk Jr. from Emily Maynard’s season.
The Luyendyk news came from Us Weekly per sources.
“Arie is being considered and filmed for promos,” the source said.
Another insider added: “He already had his packages shot and they even got him a trainer so he could buff up and be camera ready with his shirt off.”
Reality Steve had previously said that the gig is Chris’s if he wants it. He later acknowledged that Arie is in the running but said in his finale recap that “I’ve said from the beginning it‘ll be Chris, I was surprised Arie got thrown into the mix, but in the end, I do think they’ll end up going with Chris.”
Steve says that the announcement will come sometime during Bachelor in Paradise, which starts next Monday.
HollywoodLife, a gossip blog that’s not always reliable, claims, citing a source, that Chris has already been chosen.
“Chris the Farmer is the new Bachelor,” a source close to show told the blog.
“He makes it far in Andi’s season and the audience really connected with him.”
“He’s handsome and successful, making him a great candidate for the show,” the source added. “Auditions have already started for his season.”
The Bachelor season 19, or 2015, will premiere in early January.
