GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan–The trial of four men accused of plotting to kidnap Michigan’s governor started March 8, with the parties making their way through a list of more than 200 potential jurors.

Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Daniel Harris, and Brandon Caserta face federal charges of conspiring to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in 2020. Fox, Croft, and Caserta are further accused of plotting to use weapons of mass destruction, while Croft and Harris also allegedly possessed an explosive device.
