The white colored version of Apple’s iPhone 4 is slated to hit Best Buy stores by the end of this week, accordng to April 25 media reports.
The phone was first reported on around 10 months ago.
The report regarding the shipment was obtained by 9 to 5 Mac, which said the new model will be shipped on Wednesday, April 27, to the Netherlands. A “source at Best Buy” then sent the website an inventory screenshot saying that the U.S. will also get the new, white phones.
The website said that 32GB and 16GB units were shipped to Best Buys across the country.
Last month, Apple’s Senior Vice President for Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller, sent a tweet which said the white iPhone would “will be available this spring,” adding that “it is a beauty!”
Bloomberg news on April 14 similarly reported that the white iPhone would be shipped by the end of this month and its carriers will be both AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
