The White House Instagram account was shut down on Tuesday amid the government shutdown that went into effect on Tuesday.
The White House posted an image on it’s Instagram, announcing the move.
“Due to Congress’s failure to pass legislation to fund the government, updates to this account will be limited,” it wrote.
Other services were closed down on Tuesday, including national parks and NASA’s Twitter.
