WhatsApp Update on Android Brings Voice Calling for Everyone

WhatsApp is now rolling out an update for its Android version that enables voice calls for all users

WhatsApp is now rolling out an update for its Android version that enables voice calls for all users.

Last month, we reported that some Android users in India had started getting the voice calling functionality in WhatsApp. The rollout of the feature was later expanded to include the users who received calls from those who already had it enabled.

Now, WhatsApp has finally opened up the floodgates for all with the latest update that has hit the Google Play Store. Users who install this version will see an additional “Calls” tab inside the main app window.

In addition to voice calling, the new update also brings a slightly tweaked UI to the popular messaging application.
