Weatherford College in Texas was evacuated on Tuesday due to a gas leak. Classes were also canceled.
WFAA-TV in Dallas reported that the Tuesday evening classes were canceled at the college, located at 225 College Park Drive.
The gas to the line was shut off, authorities said.
Weatherford, located around 30 miles from Fort Worth, has around 10,000 students.
“Weatherford College has sent an automated message regarding a gas leak on their main campus in Weatherford. GHS dual credit students also received this message. However it does not apply to WC’s Granbury campus or GHS,” wrote the Granbury Independent School District.
