A tornado touched down near the North Dakota town of Watford City on Monday, according to reports.

UPDATE: A civil emergency message was issued by North Dakota officials for McKenzie County. “Emergency Vehicles need to reach the scene of a tornado south of Watford City along Highway 85. The emergency manager is asking people to stay off the roads in Mckenzie County to allow responders to reach the scene,” the message reads

The tornado reportedly did damage to several trailers, according to reporter Aaron White with WDAY in Fargo. 

He tweeted: “Oil field man camp 7 miles SE of Watford City, ND struck by tornado ~15 trailers severely damaged.”

Law enforcement said that the tornado touched down about 12 miles southeast of Watford City and was moving southeast at 15 mph.

It’s unclear if there were any injuries or deaths.
